Believe You Receive

Mark 11

Mar 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

THE Master said to believe that you receive, then you shall have it.
You see, in the physical world we live in, that is not how it works. People want to see first; they want to have it first before they will believe.

In the Kingdom of God, you have to believe you receive before you can have it.

Stay With Grace

Galatians 3

Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

EVERY VERSE IN THIS CHAPTER IS OUTSTANDING! Every verse can form a major commentary.
You can feel Paul’s heart here as he wrote. He was passionate; you can feel his heart beat. It;s almost like he looks through the pages at you. It’s as if he is talking directly to you. Continue reading Stay With Grace

Work Not For It

Roman 4

“But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”

He really can’t understand why anyone will want to boast of their righteousness except the work for it.
He makes it clear that if a man works for his righteousness then it was not gotten by grace but by works. And such worked-for-righteousness is unacceptable before God.

This worked-for-righteousness is seen in man’s great effort to do good. You see him do good works; you see him fast and pray; you see him give alms to the poor and homeless; you see him trying to treat the earth well; you see him offering sacrifices in many ways. Many religions of the world are built on this ideology, even the ‘Christian’ religion. (please notice the Christian is in inverted commas). Many go to church and believe that doing good works will bring them righteousness. It will never.

This matter is very serious with God! It is so serious He will not accept any good work to be ascribed to receiving righteousness.

In this Chapter, He eulogizes Abraham for ONLY believing in other to be made righteous.
In our text today, he says, ‘But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.’

God does not want any works from any man in this matter of righteousness. He does not want you to work to get it, neither does He want you to work to keep it.
All He wants you to do is BELIEVE! Your believing in the Lord Jesus that God raised Him from the dead is what will bring you righteousness and your continued Belief in that keeps you righteous. No iota of good works will be accepted here.

But he that worketh not but believes …
Stay believing!
God bless you richly!

To the ends of the earth!
God bless you richly with great grace and many blessings!

Keep Believing

Mark 5

As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
JAIRUS had come to the Master because the only daughter was sick unto death.

This man was a ruler of the synagogue. As a result he was highly placed in society.
Despite his societal placement, he humbled himself and came to Jesus. Well the Master obliged him.
On their way to the man’s house another woman came and received a miracle.
As the Master was receiving the woman’s testimony, messengers came with an ugly news that the man’s daughter was dead……..

The natural thing was to fear. And he was about to fear, when the Master jolted him out of it.
The Master said to him, ‘Be not afraid, only believe.’
The KJV says as soon as he heard it. So the Master didn’t give JAIRUS any opportunity to fear.
The KJV says ‘be not afraid’, but it should read, ‘stop the fear’.
keep believingYesterday, I told you that fear tolerated is faith contaminated. When you tolerate fear, you contaminate your faith.
Now notice how fear is related to the contamination of your faith: the Master said, fear not, only believe. In the Greek, it says, stop the fear, only keep on believing. If you tie this to our study yesterday, then you will say, ‘stop the fear, echo your faith. Stop the fear, linger in faith. Stop the fear, continue in faith.’ Alleluia!

Obviously, JAIRUS listened. Because Jesus raised the daughter from the dead! Oh Praise God.
Now notice how hopeless the situation was. Satan is a ruthless beast. He will do anything to destroy your faith and make you discontinue in faith. He knows that he has no response for faith. He is no match for faith. When a man is in faith, he WILL CONQUER. Is it not written, this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

You must not fear. It doesn’t matter what you hear, see, or feel. They are all traitors to your faith. You may be pregnant and blood spotting, you may have received pregnancy and yet nothing seems to have happened. You may be seeing your business not doing so well, maybe your ministry is not doing well. All these are there to make you discontinue in faith. Refuse to fear and be intimidated by the senses. Anything you see is subject to change by your faith. Ruthlessly stay in faith.

In this same chapter, you will see the woman with the issue of blood, how she Ruthlessly held on to her confession. She kept on saying. She lingered in her faith. And she received her healing.
Your faith will prevail. But you must linger in it. Faith works and it WILL WORK for you. Just linger in it.
Remember, this is the greatest year, you have seen so far. It is a big blast for you.

God bless you richly!
