How To Make Satan Flee

matthew 4

Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

SATAN the archenemy of humanity is such a fearful individual. Yet many people don't know.
Here in this chapter, we are shown the Master's temptation. How Satan tempted the Master and how the Master conquered and made him flee.

We notice that the Master, used ONLY the word of God. He never used stories, events or what other people said about God. He used the word of God. And with it He put Satan on the run.
In Ephesians 6 the bible calls the word of God, the sword of the spirit. And that is the only weapon of offense against Satan. And every time it is employed, He must flee.

In your life as you face challenges, do not just cry and beg, do not just sit there and hope things change, rise up with the word of God in your mouth and roar, 'it is written'. And don't stop saying it until that lizard called Satan crawls away on its ugly belly. God has guaranteed the fact that Satan will flee when resisted. End of story! Now rise and make him flee!

God bless you richly.

The Humility of The Master

Matthew 3

Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
ONE is amazed at the Master's humility.
Though He is God, by Him all things were made, yet He submitted Himself to John to be baptized of Him.
Humility is a great virtue every man and woman should embody.
God designed it that Jesus must submit to John's authority.
John was to be the authentication of the Master's ministry.
Later on the Master was asked by whose authority He did the things He did. He did not mention the anointing, or the fact that He is the son of God. Rather He pointed them to John.

It is the Father's prerogative to place us under the authority and influence of spiritual leaders.
We should do well to willingly submit ourselves to them as Jesus willingly submitted Himself to John to be baptized of him even though He didn't even need to be baptized as John observed.
May you be clothed with humility.
God bless you richly!

Dream

Matthew 2

And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

MANY people doubt the fact that God still and can talk to us through dreams.
Here in this scripture, Joseph received an instruction from God through a dream.
An angel of the Lord warned him in a dream.
In this day and age that we live in, the Almighty God still gives us directions and instructions through dreams.
I am aware many Believers need a lot of teaching along this lines because of the fact that there are several wrong teachings.
The fact we are establishing today is that we can have divine encounters with Angels and God in our dreams. We can be instructed in our dreams.
Expect these experiences in your life.
God bless you richly.

Accessed By God

Matthew 1

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

WELCOME TO the New Year.
As I meditated on the above verse, I was so drawn to it.
It says the Name of the Baby the Virgin shall deliver shall be called Emmanuel.
And that means God with us. Wao!
Now through this child God can access humanity and humanity can access God. He Himself said in the gospel of John 'I am the Door!'
He is God's access to humanity and He is humanity's access to God.
Now God has found us in Christ and has also found Christ in US.
The barrier between God and man has been demolished. Now man is free to approach God. And God is free to reach man anytime.
To God be the glory, the doors are flung open. And it is all the work of God!
We Praise God forevermore. Alleluia!
Happy New Year.
God bless you richly.

Committed To Your Trust

1 Timothy 1

According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

TODAY marks the end of 2015 and it also marks the end of our Esther fast. I want to commend all of you for your efforts in the fast.
We also thank those of you that have been faithful in this Bible reading page. With your consistency, you have encouraged many, inspired many and spured others on to good works. May your reward never fail.
Remember to be in church today to welcome the New Year. It is a special gift from God to you. Receive it from Him with gratitude.
From tomorrow we will begin reading from the book of Mathew and proceed till the end. It will be my joy to lead you on this journey, together with Rev. Gloria. We will cover greater grounds this coming year than in the past. Alleluia!

In our text today, Paul says that the gospel was committed to his trust. As we study his life, we are challenged by his utmost sense of responsibility. He owned the gospel. To him, he was The Preacher. He believed that if he didn't preach it, it will not be preached.
Now Paul is dead, and the same gospel has been committed to us. Now it must become ours. We must own it. We can not think others are preaching it. Yes they are. But that must not be our mindset.
You must own this gospel. I can hardly think of anything other than this gospel.
Let your life be seeded for the gospel. God will reward you greatly for it.
I want to bless you with the blessing of My God!
May My God Bless you and keep you.
May He cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you.
May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you Peace. Alleluia!
May the coming year bring fulfillment to your heart desires.
May those that look down upon you, look up to you.
May you remain the head and not the tail.
May you be above only and never beneath.
May My God who called me to take His gospel to the world, visit you in a special way in the coming year!
May He take away shame from you!
May He make you a wonder!
God bless you richly!
Goodbye to 2015 and welcome 2016!
God bless you again and again. Amen!

Pray for The Word to Have Free Course

2 Thessolonians 3

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
OH ALLELUIA! WHAT a request!
Today we are going to be praying this verse as we fast.
Here the Apostle is asking these Believers to pray that the word of the Lord will have free course. That means run unhindered.
He is pointing out there responsibility in the gospel. He told them that the word has come to them freely, and they have received it. It is therefore their responsibility to pray that God’s Holy Word, which was the message Paul and his team bore, will have free course, will run swiftly, unhindered to other regions of the earth.
Oh, what will happen if every one that has received our message will pray for the same message to have free course. Oh my! We will conquer the world free course! I am challenging you to rise to your responsibility in the gospel. You have a responsibility as a child of God to pray for our gospel to run swiftly and be glorified all over the world.
We need your prayers NOW!
Prayer!
God bless you richly.

The Departure

2 Thessolonians 2

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

TODAY we Commence our three day Esther fast. It is my prayer, that the Blessed Spirit will visit us in a special way as we end the year fasting and seeking Him. We have His promise that when we seek Him, we shall find Him! Alleluia!
Our text today is quite controversial in many circles.

Many believe that hear there is a prophecy that many will fall away from the faith just before the coming of the Lord. So all around, they see decay in the church, they see weakness in the church, they see the church fall away.
They base such theological conclusion on the words of our text, 'for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;'

In the context of this chapter, Paul is talking about the second coming of the Lord. In an earlier study, I had shared with you the two stages of the second coming of the Lord. In this chapter, Paul is talking about the final stage, in which the Master will come all the way to the earth.
But then notice that Paul says before that day comes, there will be first a falling away, then the revelation of the man of sin or son of perdition, which is the Antichrist.
The million dollar question is, 'is Paul predicting the apostasy of the church just before the coming of the Lord?'
We answer to the contrary.
The Greek word translated falling away is ' apostasía'. Even Strongs dictionary struggled to get it right here. Apostasia is a derivative of the Greek word 'aphístēmi'.
Which means to depart. So Apostasia is talking about departing. But then many believe it means departing from the truth or from Christ.
No! He is talking about departing from this world in the rapture, and then the son of perdition will be revealed. You see, if the church does not depart in the rapture, the man of sin will never be revealed. Because if he is revealed while we are here, we will have authority over him in the Name of Jesus.

Another important thing in this verse is that there is the definite article 'the' before falling away. The KJV says 'a'. And that is wrong.
The 'falling away' in this verse should have read 'going away' or 'departing' from this world.
That verse should read ' Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come THE DEPARTURE first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;'

As the end draws nigh, the church will not get weaker but stronger. The Spirit is being poured out more on us, greater revelations are being granted us. The church will get stronger until we depart. For the path of the just is as the shinning light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day.
God bless you richly.

It is a Righteous Thing with God

2 Thessalonians 1

Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; These are scriptures that comfort one. The Apostle says it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you. Invariably, he is saying not to take it upon your self to recompense people that trouble you, whether Believers or unbelievers. Many times there are people that trouble you. They are just a thorn in your flesh. You have them in your offices, some are relatives, some are men or women under the influence of Satan. But regardless of who they are, the scriptures comfort us, with this scripture. The key is not to take matters into your hand. Allow your God to take action on your behalf. It may take a while. But eventually He will do what is righteous at His timing. When the time comes He will recompense those that trouble you with tribulation. Learn to rest in His love and care. Believe He has your best interest at heart. He will not permit you to be ruined and destroyed by wicked and unreasonable men. God is for you and no man can be against you. He will perfect all that concerns you.God bless you richly.
