Acts 5
Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.
STAND AND SPEAK IN THE TEMPLE TO THE people all the words of THIS LIFE!
That was the angels instruction from God. They were to go to the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life!
That phrase, “words of this life”, is quite impacting!
Notice that they were not to go and teach the people all the philosophies of this life. Or the sciences of this life, or any other thing of this life. But the words of this life.
The Greek word life, is ZOE. It is the God kind of life. It is life as God has it. This is the life that makes God, God. God is God because He has the God life.
Now when Jesus came, He said, “I am come that they may have life (zoe) and have more abundantly.” Jesus’s mission was to bring the life of God to broken, helpless, distraught humanity and make us the children of God.
Now through his death, burial and resurrection, He has paved the way for this very life to be imparted into humanity.
Now the ONLY way men receive this life and have it dominate them is through the ministry of the word.
That is why the angel said, “Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.”
As the people receive the words of this life, they will receive the life the words convey.
This is what the Master has sent us to preach: words of this life!
He didn’t send us to preach philosophy. He didn’t send us to argue the accurate date of Christmas, or Easter. He sent us to tell the people ……..all the words of THIS LIFE!
We are to keep telling these words of this life, we must continue to discuss all the words of this life until these words dominate us, and we begin to think, talk and act like God Himself will have us act…… God!
