And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.
USING THE WORD desperation is to communicate the Father’s heart in this matter.
Many people have not understood the Father’s heart concerning healing the sick. The verse before us is a glorious, vivid, all out demonstration of the Father’s ‘desperation‘ in healing the sick.
Notice that the leper came to Jesus and says in effect, ‘if you will, you can make me whole’.
Notice that the leper did not doubt His ability, or power to heal the sick but doubted His willingness to heal.
Now Jesus must demonstrate to this man and to all of the human race for all time that He ‘wills‘ to heal.
If he had just told the man to go and be healed. He has demonstrated the fact that it is God’s will to heal. Our hearts will be assuaged.
But He did more!
He wanted to leave us without a shadow of a doubt that it is God’s perfect will for all time to heal the sick.
He reached out…. HIS hands…… And t-o-u-c-h-e-d the leper!
He touched him and said, I will be thou cleansed! My my my!
And the leper was healed. We are amazed and blessed, and truly assuaged in our hearts. We are confirmed by this.
He went an extra mile to prove to broken humanity that it is the perfect will of the Father to heal the sick.
Now it is clear. Now we have no more room for doubt.
Now you must rebuke sickness with intensity. You must never put up with it. The Father wants you whole.
There is no glory in sickness. Sickness is incipient death. Refuse it. God ‘desperately’ wants you well.
Now you know the will of God, let us go forth and enforce it boldly. Lay your hands on the sick and they will Recover.
Someone is waiting for you. Go quickly and give them healing.
You will see outstanding miracles this year.
This is the most miraculous year of your life so far! My my my.
To the ends of the earth!
God bless you richly with great grace and many blessings!
