Job 11

And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.

ONE OF THE OUTSTANDING MINISTRIES OF THE Blessed Holy Spirit is the ministry of revelation. And by that I mean a ministry of showing. A revealing ministry.
This aspect of the Holy Spirit is so important. This is one of the major reasons the Master sent Him to us. He was given to us to SHOW us things to come! To show us the future; to show us things we need to know.
He is a “SHOW-ER”!

In our text today, we read that He would show you the secrets of wisdom.
Wisdom has secrets and only the Blessed Holy Spirit can show it.
And I believe that He will pour these secrets into your spirit.
Then notice what is the consequence of this showing: they are double to that which is! Alleluia!

When the Blessed Spirit shows you these secrets of wisdom, then there is suddenly a doubling of all that is in your life.
Suddenly your influence is doubled. Suddenly your finances are doubled. Suddenly your prosperity is doubled. Suddenly your increase is doubled. Instead of a bearish economy, you will have a bullish economy.

The Holy Spirit will show you things to come. He will show you the secrets of wisdom. He knows them and He will show them to you!

As you spend time speaking in ecstasy, He will pour these secrets into your spirit.
May you be filled with the Holy Spirit afresh.

To the ends of the earth!
God bless you richly with great grace and many blessings!

Job 10

Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.

JOB GIVES US MORE INSIGHT INTO the make up of man.
He points out that man is a creature of God.
In this age when men are rebelliously peddling evolution and exalting humanism, Job’s words cuts these world views down.

Many believe that man is a soul. Others say that man is simply a body and that whenever he dies, that will just be the end of his existence.
Nothing can be further from the truth.
In our text today, Job poignantly declares that God has clothed him with skin and flesh.
He further declares that God has fenced him with bones and sinews.
The skin and flesh, bones and sinews, represent his body.
It is obvious then that he is not the body.
He said that the flesh is what God used to cloth him. The bones and sinews are what He used to fence him.

The man on the inside is different from what is used to cloth and fence him.
God made man a spirit.
God made man in his image, after His likeness. God is spirit, and therefore man is spirit.
Man’s body is not him. He lives in his body. Man’s body is man’s house here on earth.
Job 4:19 calls man’s body house of clay. “How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay.”

Man’s body is his house on earth. His body is what is holding him here on earth. When that body can’t hold him anymore, he must live that body and go into the world of the spirit, either to heaven or hell.
It will be up to the man.
If he believed that he is only a body, it will affect the way he lives here on earth and the choices he makes.
If he agrees with the bible and believes that the is an eternal spirit and lives in a body, it will affect the choices he makes and how he lives on this earth.
This one thing is certain, man is not a body. And will one day stand before his Maker to give account of the life that was given to him. He had better be prepared to plead his case.
The truth really is that man has no case to plead out side of the blood of Jesus that was shed for the remission of his sins.
If he is sheltered by the blood of Jesus, then he will spend eternity with God. Otherwise, he will spend it with Satan in torment in Hell.

It is our job then to help many see the light.
This job begins with great intercessory prayers.

To the ends of the earth!
God bless you richly with great grace and many blessings!

Job 9

Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both.

THIS CHAPTER IS FILLED WITH HOPELESSNESS. It is a chapter filled with the tragedy the entire human race is in.

In this chapter Job lays out the case against not just himself but also the entire humanity. He boldly points out the age old case against the human race before a holy God. Again and again, he points out the fact that man can not be justified before God by himself.

He makes it clear that even if man tries to do that his own flesh will abhor him and his own lips will condemn him.Let us look at some striking statements from this chapter that convey these hopeless situation man has found himself in. first Job asks so helplessly. “but how should man be just with God?”

The word for man in this verse is very striking. It is the Hebrew word “’ĕnôsh”. Enosh means “mortal”. This means death doomed! One that is doomed to die; one that is destined to die! It also means One over whom death reigns. This word was also the name of Adam’s first grandson whom Sheth bare. His name was Enosh. We are amazed and helplessly alarmed at the fact that Humanity’s first grand child was named Enosh!

In verse 3 Job lays out further man’s helplessness before a holy God; “If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.”He is talking about God entering into a controversy with man. If God chooses to charge crime on him, and to hold him responsible for his deeds. The language here is taken from courts of justice, and means that if a trial were instituted, where God should submit charges, and the matter were left to adjudication, man could not answer the charges against him. Here again, he is helpless. The thousand here is taken as the highest number. The man’s sins are so many he can’t even answer for one of them not to talk of answering for a thousand.

The whole chapter is a terrible tragedy. There is no ray of hope anywhere in it. It brings out man’s eternal condition before

Job 6

How forcible are right words! but what doth your arguing reprove?

WE ARE HIT BY THE VERY FORCE of the words above!
This expression tells us how powerful, how hard hitting are the right words.
By the right words, we mean words based on the word of God. We mean the word of God!
What can be more right than the word of God.
These right words are words spoken in season.

Good People Can Suffer But It doesn’t Have to be You

Job 4

Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being innocent? or where were the righteous cut off?

WHEN JOB’S PROBLEMS STARTED, three of his friends came to comfort him and mourn with him. We are told they mourned with him for seven days. That included going without food and sitting on the ash heap with job for seven days and seven nights. Indeed they were true friends of Job.
