He Is Not Unrighteous

Hebrews 6

For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

It evokes and appeals to us to labour for the Master.
I know you understand that this labour is never for Continue reading He Is Not Unrighteous

Accelerating Your Spiritual Advancement

Hebrews 5

Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

YOUR SPIRITUAL ADVANCEMENT IS IMPORTANT! God consistently wants us to keep growing and making progress spiritually.
And that progress is dependent on our knowledge of him).
Grace and peace is multiplied through the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Our experience of Grace and Peace is multiplied through the “epignosis” (full, complete. exact knowledge) of Jesus Christ.

In our verse today, Paul says that he had many more things to share and teach them but because they were dull of hearing he could not share it.
It is clear that the level of revelation that we race ive is dependent on our understanding of the things thought us.

Some times I want to share so much more with some people but I have to hold it in.
They were not ready!
Paul said these Brethren were dull of hearing.
The Greek means slow to understand.
They were slow to grasp spiritual verities!
As a result, they were slow in their spiritual advancement.

The more intimate knowledge of the Word that we receive the more intimate we become with Him.
Through the Word we understand Him better.

Many times Brethren are simply religious; they are not making effort to advance spiritually. As a result they don’t reach their full potential in God.
Peter commands us to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Growing in knowledge and understanding is important.
The Jubilee Bible says of our verse today, “Of whom we have many things to say and difficult to declare, seeing ye are hard of hearing.”
When Brethren are hard of hearing, communicating spiritual verities becomes a herculean task. CEV says. “Much more could be said about this subject. But it is hard to explain, and all of you are slow to understand.”

That is shocking!
They were slow to understand.

Remember in Matthew’s account of the parable of the sower, the Master talked about the seed that fell on stony ground. He said those are they that heard the word, but did not understand it. Then cometh the Devil and taketh the word from them. “When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.”

It is important to understand.
Be quick to understand. And so much more shall be given to you.
God is interested in you.
Open up your spirit, task yourself, believe God for a speedy understanding of the teachings you receive. And so much more revelations will be given to you.

I encourage you to pray Paul’s prayer in Ephesians’s 1; that God will give you the spirit of wisdom and understanding in the knowledge of Him. Alleluia!
And as a result your life will multiply.
Remember, grace and peace are multiplied to you through the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
To the ends of the earth!
God bless you richly with great grace and many blessings!

Be Persuadable

Hebrews 3

So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

WE CAN REPHRASE OUR VERSE TODAY THIS WAY, “They could not succeed because of unbelief.”
God had brought them out of Egyptian bondage, with mighty signs and wonders. With great and outstanding miracles. Yet they doubted His heart, His intentions and His ability to bring the rest of His promise to pass in their life!

How God Honored Jesus

Hebrews 1

For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art

my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

PAUL CLEARLY STATES THAT GOD honored Jesus above the angels! Continue reading How God Honored Jesus
