Call Upon His Name

Acts 2

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Here the scripture says that Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Notice the “whosoever”!
No body is exempted! Any body can be saved. Be it a serially ritualist (with all our sincere sympathy for their victims); a chronic criminal; a very devout religious man. Just about any body can be saved.
The only condition is to call upon the name of the Lord.
When some one calls on the name of the Lord, they are declaring and accepting the Lord as their savior.
Remember the thief that was crucified with Jesus, all he said was Jesus remember me in your kingdom.
And he made it.
Our job is to preach the gospel and help people to see the true light and requirement of salvation. And all that people need is just to call upon the name of the Lord and salvation is theirs.
From today preach the true and simple gospel of salvation. Do not be like the Pharisees, whom Jesus, say stand at the gate of the kingdom of God, not going in and not letting others go in because they make it so difficult with their rules and regulations. Yet salvation is simple!
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
God bless you richly!u

He Is Coming Back

Acts 1

who also said, `Men, Galileans, why do ye stand gazing into the heaven? this Jesus who was received up from you into the heaven, shall so come in what manner ye saw him going on to the heaven.’
The ” men” were obviously angels and not just men.
We know in scripture that angels can appear as men.
In this case they two of them did.
Their testimony to the Apostles on this very ascension day thrill us. They are a great comfort to us.
They are asserting the fact that the Master is coming back.
For them to be clarifying this on the very day the Master was ascending into Heaven is very instructive, in that it seems the Blessed Holy Spirit was in a hurry to comfort they heart of every Believer with the fact of the Master’s return.
As the Apostles went about fulfilling the great commission, and living their daily lives, they were conscious of the fact that the Master was coming back. They lived in the full consciousness of that fact.
For us we will be more focused and have fewer distractions if our gaze is locked on the fact that the Master is definitely coming back to this world and that when He comes, He will come with His rewards for us. He will be handing out His rewards to us in appreciation for our living for Him and advancing His everlasting Kingdom. BLessed be His Holy Name forever! Alleluia!
It is my prayer that you will live in the full consciousness of the Master return.
The songwriter said, turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, and the things of this earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace! Oh alleluia!
This Jesus who was received up from you into the heaven, shall so come in what manner ye saw him going on to the heaven.’
God bless you richly!

Don’t Turn Back

John 21

Simon Peter saith to them, `I go away to fish;’ they say to him, `We go–we also–with thee;’ they went forth and entered into the boat immediately, and on that night they caught nothing.
HERE PETER AND SOME OF THE Apostles, had returned to fishing.
At this point they were not really sure of themselves any more.
What were they to do?
Jesus is risen, but where is He?
The only “sensible” thing to do was to return to his fishing business.
Again, he failed to succeed! Until the Master intervened again!
Many times in our lives, we are at a point where we don’t understand what is happening in our live and in our callings. At such points the only “sensible” thing to do seems to return to the things you were used to.
Remember that the Master said, he that puts his hand on the plough  and looks back is not fit for the kingdom.
Yes, times of challenges will come; times of seeming confusion, but you must stand your ground and persist in what God has asked you to do. And He will put you over.
Don’t give up, and don’t quit.
you are coming out on top.
God bless you richly.

Sent as He Was Sent

John 20

John 20:21

Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

WE AS BELIEVING HAVE BEEN COMMISSIONED just as the Master Himself was commissioned.

He said that He is sending us even as the Father has sent Him.

Every Believer is a commissioned officer in this army.

We then ask, what was the Master sent to do? He was sent to seek and to save sinners.

It follows then that we have been sent to seek and to save sinners.

This is the Master’s dream. This is His heart beat.

We don’t need another call from Him. He has already sent us. Let us heed that commission and go forth.

One thing is sure, we will not fail.

Surely we will win in this task as the Master Himself won. Alleluia!

God bless you richly!

It Is Finished

John 19

When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
He has finished His work . The Law has been concluded. The demands of the Law has been finished.
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us, for it is written, cursed is every man that hangeth upon the tree, that the blessing of Abraham, might come upon the Gentiles.
On the cross, Jesus fulfilled the righteous demands of the Law. Now no man needs to fulfill the Law in order to be saved.
Christ has become the end of the Law for righteousness to every one that believes.
When the Master expired on the cross, the veil in the temple that separated the holy place from the Holy of Holy was torn in twain from top to bottom, signifying that the levitical priesthood which was an offshoot of the law has been sacked!
Now men can look into the Holy of Holies.
Paul said to us, come boldly unto the throne of grace that you may obtain mercy and grace to help in time of need.
The righteous demands of the Law have all been met through Christ’s sufferings. For Christ has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He may bring us to God; being put to death in the flesh and quickened by the spirit.
Ladies and gentlemen, there is no more sacrifice for sins.
God bless you richly!

You Hear His Voice

John 18

Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
It is obvious that this chapter is a “tragedy”.
But we are elated knowing that all the Master did, He did for us.
In the last part of our text, the Master says that everyone that is of the truth heareth His voice.
This is an emphatic statement by the Master.
Every one that is of the truth heareth His voice. Glory to God.
To be of the truth means to be born again. It means to be born of the word. It means to be born of God.
So if you are born again, the Master says you HEAR His voice.
It is left for you then to agree with Him. Say what He says.
He said you hear His Voice. Then you say, “I am of the truth and I hear the Voice of the Master”
And as you declare that over your self over and over again, before you know it, it will become a reality in your life. You will begin to hear the voice of the Master speaking clearly to you! Glory to God.
God bless you richly as you hear the Voice of the Master.

His Glory Is Yours

John 17

And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
To see here that the Master Himself prays specially for us is most moving. He is the Good Shepherd indeed.
You can see from this prayer that He had a very intimate relationship with the Father.
Our text today blesses us amazingly.
He is saying that the glory the Father has given Him, He has given to us! Wao!
That means we are sharers and partakers of His glory.
Little wonder He said He is the Vine and we are the branches.
The glory that the Father has given to Jesus, He has bestowed on us.
In Christ Jesus, we are glorified, with the very same glory that the Father has given to Him.
You are a glorified person in Christ. Shame and ignominy are far from you! You are a Blessed and glorified person.
God’s hand rests upon your life!
Never speak shame. You are glorified in Christ! Alleluia!
Live the glorified life!
God bless you richly!

In Your Best Interest

John 16

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
IF THE MASTER DIDN’T SAY THIS, it would have been difficult to believe it in the first place.
You see, when Jesus is physically present with you, you can reach out and touch Him.
But He Himself said it is expedient for us that He goes!
For Him to say that means He really meant what He was saying.
In other words, He is saying that it is in our best interest that He goes away.
Now He tells us that when He goes the comforter, that is the Holy Ghost will come.
You see that if Jesus where still here, we can ONLY have Him WITH us, but never IN us and ON us.
But the Holy Ghost came, and He is living in us; He is on us and He is with us. Alleluia!
This is the reason the Master said it was expedient that He went away.
Now the Master is in heaven, We have the precious, Blessed Holy Spirit.
That means then that now God is living in us. Wao!
A life of failure and defeat is now a thing of the past. Glory to God!
Now Greater is He that is in you than he that is in all the world!
Welcome to a life of absolute victory and success!
God Bless you richly.

The Vine Life

John 15

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
We answer to the contrary!
He is the Vine, we are the branches.
Note that it is the Master Himself that uttered these glorious words.
By saying that we are the branches of the Vine, He is elevating us to the same status that He is in! He is saying there is really no difference between you and Me. For the very life i have, I give to you.
You see, the Vine is not different from the branches. The Vine doesn’t go by a different name from the branches. The same life that flows through the vine flows into the branches.
Come to think of it; can you call a tree by a different name from the branches? Can you dissociate a branch from a tree except the branch be fallen from the tree?
The Master declaring that we are the branches of the Vine, He is saying that we are part and parcel of Him.
We have His very life in us!
The Vine life flows through you!
We have His very wisdom flowing in us.
Little wonder John the beloved said, “as He is, so are we in this world”
Welcome to Success and victory!
Every one who succeeds outstandingly in God must embrace this truth and personalize it!
God Bless you richly!

Don’t Be Troubled

John 14

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Let not your heart be troubled!
The implication of the Master’s admonition is that our hearts can be troubled.
And He also implies that we can let our hearts be troubled.
The understood subject of the sentence is you.
The Master is saying we should not permit our hearts be troubled. Satan will throw a lot of things our way to cause our hearts to be troubled. Things may go awry in order for our hearts to be troubled. You may experience some delays sometimes; don’t let that cause your heart to be troubled.
How do you overcome your heart being troubled?
The Master said, “Ye believe in God, believe also in me”
That is the key right there.
A strong unwavering belief in God and in Jesus (the Word).
The Word you believe will bring you comfort in troubling times. It will cause your heart to be at peace in the midst of the worst storms of life. You will just know that you are coming out on top.
Make a decision today to never let your heart be troubled.
Rest in the word of God. Let it comfort you and put over in all affairs of life. Glory to God.
God bless you richly!
